I am a certified English tutor (TEFL/TESOL) with experience teaching students from all around the world. I have also prepared students for the IELTS exam and job interviews. From university students to practicing surgeons, I have taught people from all walks of life. I have taught many students from China, for which I began learning basic Mandarin.

Through friendly, relaxed conversations about any subject, I hope to help intermediate & advanced speakers on their language journey. Learning English is an experience and an adventure, not work. I am here to inspire you to engage with the language and the world with a sense of wonder and purpose. First, become confident speaking with me, then take your language abilities into conversations and experiences out in the world.

I have many passions and interests, and in the future will be guiding adventure trips and visceral experiences around the globe. My passions are exploring the world, hiking mountains, nature/environmental conservation, meeting new people, movies, music, concerts, dancing, history, sports (especially international football/soccer), philosophy, poetry, the meaning of life, religion, and current affairs/news. Through travel, living abroad, studying, and just having a thirst for learning about this beautiful world, I will be able to speak about whatever is of interest to English learners.

I studied at the Elliott School of International Affairs of The George Washington University with a focus on conflict resolution and peace building in divided societies.

I am looking forward to teach students from anywhere in the world online and in-person. I have taught many students in China, for which I began to learn some basic Mandarin. In-Person: I would like to teach students from NYC down to Cherry Hill in South Jersey. For those in NY or North Jersey, I can meet once a month in person at an interesting outdoors location or cafe with the remaining classes online. For those from the area stretching from Princeton and Hamilton, NJ in the north to Cherry Hill, NJ in the south, I can meet more often in-person.
