Experienced English Tutor tailored learning method

I have been an English tutor for more than 5 years. Passionate traveler and language learner with academic background. I worked in scientific research for about 8 years between England and Germany, prior to becoming, in 2018, a public teacher at the Italian Secondary School. Since then, I have been holding private English lessons and gaining a C2 language certificate. During my classes, I create a relaxed environment to let students learn effectively and without stress. I apply a communicative and interactive approach that enables students to actively use the language already at a beginner's level. I successfully prepared teenagers and adults for Cambridge, IELTS, and TOEFL A1-C1 exams or selection for either public or private employment. According to the student’s needs, I create a tailored learning plan focusing more on speaking (including pronunciation, intonation, and fluency), writing (both formal and informal register), listening (and vocabulary), and grammar respectively. Our first class is dedicated to the need analysis and mutual knowledge; once identified the starting level I focus on setting, together with the student, the targets and the time frame to achieve them.
