Tutor, Learn English Fast with Akosua in Nairobi

I really love children and so would love to focus on teaching them. I am open, however, to accept any person that is keen on growing as an English speaker.

Experience:
- Native English speaker. Studied in the United States for both my high school and undergraduate education.
- Exclusively taught my two sons (then 6 and 4) subjects including English and reading for one and a half years during the pandemic lock down enabling them to continue with their learning uninterrupted.
- 1 year of teaching experience in Early Childhood Education for a 3 year old.
- Taught 45 3-year old girls during Vacation Bible School.
-Currently a part time online tutor

Qualifications:
-Bachelor in Arts in International Affairs (Mercer University - Macon, Ga, USA)
-Pursuing TEFL Accreditation

Specialization:
-Conversational English (Grammar, Vocabulary, Pronunciation, Articulation - both receptive and productive skills)
-English tuition for Lower primary school students

Hobbies:
- Cooking and Baking
- DIY Home Décor Projects
- Worship singing (as part of our church choir)
- Playing board games (Scattegories, Scrabble, Uno, Jenga, Ludo)

I personally recommend 30 minute to 1 hour lessons (2 times per week) for lower primary and conversational language tutoring.

Interacting with children on a daily basis has made me more creative, kind, patient and fun-loving - especially regarding learning.
