Learn English Fast with Erin in Melbourne

Hello, my name is Erin and I am 24 years old from Montreal, Canada. I have recently moved to Melbourne under the Working Holiday VISA (417) on December 28th, 2018. Friendly, outgoing, patient, compassionate and reliable are few of my defining characteristics.

Throughout my undergraduate studies, I worked part-time at an Italian restaurant as a bartender for 3 and a half years. However, my passion is to work with children. I have extensive experience related to child development as I began babysitting at age 14 and continued on as a Day Camp Animator, Research Assistant, Tutor and Volunteer Assistant for different organizations within the field.

Most recently, I accumulated approximately 250 hours working as a Private Educator and Intervention Aide with two children in between the ages of three to eight, who have speech delays. My role consisted of administering speech/language and ABA-style therapies. Effectively engaging with the children helped them advance in language and speech skills and milestones. Researching and preparing materials for them outside the workplace facilitated their learning. I also ensured to collaborate with my supervisors, the family, and other professionals with regard to children’s ongoing needs. Over the course of 3 months, I developed strong relationships with the children as well as everyone in the work environment.

Through these experiences combined with my academic background, I have gained the skill set necessary to work with people from all walks of life. I am very keen on helping and guiding those in need. Please contact if you need help any help in English and/or in French (I am bilingual)!
