English Tutoring: Education, Business and Technical Needs

Hi

My name is Kitt Johnson and I'm originally from New York, but spent a large amount of time growing up in England. My background is in History and a Masters degree in Neuroscience and A.I. I currently build websites. My accent is an easy to understand mix between American and British.

I mainly avail my English teaching services to those who already have some English ability, but also cater to those with educational related, technical or business needs. Most of my students want to push their current English abilities to a higher level and I'm here to support that.

If you become one of my students, we will work towards your specific English needs. The focus will be on crafting an educational plan for the situation you are in. This involves focusing on your area or project or looking at specific business and technical materials in order to analyse them thoroughly. I also expect my students to be willing to read and summarise small pieces of written content for homework so we are able to converse about it during our class.

If a student wishes to improve their writing, then written work will be expected to be completed by those who are aiming to better structure and express their ideas in English, but is not required for those aiming to only become more fluent in conversation.

The main aim is to make the process fun while learning as much as possible.

Some of my interests include philosophy, economics, creative writing and A.I.
