My name is Steffan Blanco. I was born in Cuba and moved to the U.S where I attended high school and university. I have a BA and MA in History. I'm easygoing, friendly, and try to be funny around my friends. I like to read adventure, historical and classical books, write poetry and about history, play the piano, the tin whistle and pan flute, play soccer, video games, and spend time with my family and friends. I like to visit museums, other historical places, and travel to the countryside. I love to learn new things, help others learn, and work toward bettering myself.

I have 3 years of ESL teaching in-person and online experience. I have experience teaching in China, U.S and Spain. I have taught kids, teenagers, young and older adults, from beginner to advance. I feel more comfortable teaching teenagers, young and older adults, given my personality. I have advanced English and Spanish reading, writing and speaking skills, and I am organized, focused, detail-oriented, dedicated and flexible.

My lessons have mostly included grammar and speaking, in both English and Spanish. They have covered a variety of topics such as traveling, holidays, shopping, sports, movies, and English slang, and specific classes such as reading and phonic. I like to make my classes entertaining, didactic and engaging, paying attention to the students' needs and interests. I like to ask questions and play games, making sure the student learns the subject while having fun.
