English is everywhere in a city as diverse as L.A.—on murals, music, and farmers markets. It’s not a classroom; it’s full immersion. Accents, slang, and stories constantly surround you. If you’re observant, curious, and a people-watcher like me, it’s practically an open book.
It depends on how you spend your time. In L.A., every bus ride, coffee order, or chat with a neighbor is a lesson. If you stay engaged and intentional, progress happens fast. For someone like me, always observing and analyzing is less about the clock and more about connection.
