Hi everyone!

My name is Ola, I'm a Polish native speaker, and I hold a BA degree in English Philology. Living in the UK for the past 20 years has shown me how powerful good English skills can be, and in this class, we're going to build them together.

Because I have lived and worked in an English-speaking environment for many years, I have a deep understanding of how English is actually used in everyday life—not just from textbooks, but in real conversations, media, and culture. I bring this real-world experience into my teaching to help students develop practical language skills that they can use confidently in their daily lives, studies, work, or travel.

As a Polish speaker who learned English to a high level, I understand the challenges that Polish learners often face. I know which grammar points can be confusing, which pronunciation sounds may be difficult, and how to explain them in a clear and simple way. My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.

My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs and goals. Whether you want to improve your speaking skills, expand your vocabulary, work on pronunciation, prepare for an exam, or simply gain confidence in everyday conversations, I will help you create a learning plan that works for you. I believe that learning a language should be engaging, practical, and enjoyable.

During our lessons, we will focus on communication and building confidence. I encourage students to speak as much as possible because I believe that active use of the language is one of the most effective ways to improve. At the same time, I pay attention to grammar accuracy and natural language usage, helping students sound more fluent and confident.

I use a variety of learning materials and activities to keep lessons interesting and effective. Depending on your goals, we may work with articles, videos, podcasts, role-play exercises, conversation topics, grammar exercises, or real-life situations. I believe that exposure to authentic English helps students understand how the language is truly used and builds confidence in using it naturally.

I am patient, friendly, and committed to helping my students achieve their goals. No matter your current level, I will support you every step of the way and adapt lessons to your pace and learning style. I understand that every student learns differently, which is why I always try to create lessons that are both effective and enjoyable.

My aim is not only to teach English but also to help students feel more comfortable and confident when using it. In my free time, I enjoy travelling, discovering new places and cultures, and watching drama series on Netflix. These interests often inspire interesting conversation topics in class and help make lessons more engaging and enjoyable. I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and learning about their experiences, which is one of the reasons I enjoy teaching so much.
