Hello! My name is Mirabelle, and I’m a friendly, patient and approachable language tutor from Nigeria. I teach English, Efik and Ibibio, and I enjoy helping students develop their communication skills in a relaxed and comfortable learning environment.
Whether you are learning English for everyday communication, travel, work or personal development, I can help you improve your speaking, vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar and confidence. If you are interested in learning Efik or Ibibio, I can also help you learn useful words, phrases, everyday conversations and expressions while introducing you to the culture behind the language.
My lessons are personalised according to your level and goals. I understand that every learner is different, so I encourage questions, conversation and plenty of practice rather than making lessons feel like a classroom where you are afraid of making mistakes.
Learning a language is also about understanding the people and culture behind it. That is why my lessons can include everyday expressions, cultural context and natural conversations that help you use what you learn outside the lesson.
