Experienced online native English teacher

Greetings language learners! My name is Ed. I am an English teacher from the UK. I’ve been working as a language teacher since 2012. Having initially experienced tutoring students from Spain, Italy, Brazil and Somalia in the UK, I have since worked in South Korea, Vietnam and Indonesia.
I have a university degree, am CELTA certified, and have experienced teaching students aged 4 to adult in class and online. I have taught a range of learners in terms of age and nationality and in a range of roles: pre-school, primary, secondary and ESL. I have also experienced teaching cooking, art and crafts, guitar, and in after-school clubs such as journalism and broadcasting club, movie club and chess club.
I have experienced management in the form of 3.5 years as the director of a language school in Vietnam where I was responsible for structure and development. I was able to set up IELTS, TOEFL and general English for adults and develop our existing English program by producing curriculums, course materials and tests. I was also responsible for setting up online teaching during the events of 2020, and for the training and assessment of teachers.
Teaching is a profession I take very seriously and I always strive to give the very best service to my students. Preparing and developing lesson plans and resources is something I take a lot of care over to ensure lessons are coherently sequenced and students remain stimulated throughout. I always ensure that lessons have a steady tempo and contain engaging and varied activities to allow students to seamlessly learn whilst having fun. There will also be extra resources to call upon, on occasions when students complete lesson exercises quickly.
Most courses on offer will comprise of two sessions per week and last for 16 weeks. Each session will be one hour long. However, if you require a more intensive course or to learn according to your schedule, it’s entirely up to you.
I have a range of course materials for general English suitable for ages 4 all the way up to adult age groups. I can also teach English for IELTS, TOEFL, business, hospitality, tourism, engineering and nursing. If it’s extra focus on speaking, grammar, listening, reading or writing that you need, then courses will be specifically tailored to meet your requirements. There will also be a report provided in the middle and at end of each course and optional tests will be available.
