English coaching from native speaking business professional

A native English speaking coach holding a BS in Computer Engineering with a range of experience in IT/telecommunications plus a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment with experience in equities and derivatives markets.

My teaching interest began at university, where I had a university position instructing non-technical students in basic software programming. Teaching elements continued throughout my IT career and again during my post-graduate studies when I taught an FX markets course while completing my own studies. My first professional position in finance was as Education Executive for a multi-national derivatives market maker responsible for educating our retail clients on how to use our trading platform and manage risk when trading our derivative products.

Living and/or working in the US, Canada, England, Australia, New Zealand and now, Germany provides me with broad experience in English variants and differences in common usage of the language due to location and cultural differences.

I began coaching English in the US as a volunteer for a non-profit providing English training and cultural assimilation services to immigrants. Here in Germany I work as a freelance English coach focused on corporate clients who need to improve their English skills to be more effective in the global work environment.
