CELTA qualified teacher

I am a CELTA qualified teacher and I am currently working for an English school in Dublin, where I teach adult students coming from all around the world. Having experience with multilingual classes, where students do not only speak different languages but also have different learning backgrounds, helps me better understand the different difficulties learners might have when learning English. Consequently, it helps me to have a more efficient teaching approach, in which I focus on students’ common difficulties and personal needs and goals.
I believe in students being at the center of the learning process, so as a teacher, my role is to facilitate this process and create opportunities for students to make as much use as possible of the language. My lessons are full of interaction and all four skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) are covered.
