We will engage in various learning activities during our outing aimed at developing specific skills such as pronunciation or vocabulary acquisition.
I will also send you away with a set of resources designed to consolidate and further develop your English skills after your adventure.
Current activities on offer include: Urban Art, Food Culture, Traditional Art Skills, and Dubai Architecture.

I also offer traditional format lessons on-site in which I focus on:

* Cambridge and IELTS certification
* customised requirements

More about me: I am a native/bilingual speaker from Cape Town, South Africa.
I also speak French (working proficiency) and am currently improving my Arabic too.
I have gained almost 16 years experience in the industry in London, Cape Town and the UAE, and have taught in language and business schools, mainstream schools, and privately onsite.
My students have ranged from Russian civil engineers to 6 year old beginner students to refugees in England.
I graduated from the University of Cape Town with an English Language and Literature major degree, and a professional teaching qualification (post-graduate).
I completed my TEFL certificate with ITTT and IELTS Academic with IDP Australia (8.5 score).
Additionally I've completed a number of professional development courses with Futurelearn and IDP Australia to keep my skills updated. These include Pronunciation skills with Language Fuel New Zealand and Applied Linguists at the University of Leeds.

As a creative with a great passion for the English language and its cultural background, I use highly immersive and engaging strategies to teach the language. Speaking and listening skills, along with vocabulary acquisition, are a primary focus in my lessons as they are the true measure of mastery. I am very good at designing strategies that address each student's unique challenges. My Performing Arts background helps me bring a vibrant and theatrical touch.
