We will engage in various learning activities during our outing aimed at developing specific skills such as pronunciation, new vocabulary, sentence construction, and spelling.
I will also send you away with a set of resources to consolidate and further develop your English skills after your adventure.
Current activities on offer include: Urban Art, Food Culture, Traditional Art Skills, and Dubai Architecture.

More about me: I am a native/bilingual speaker from Cape Town, South Africa.
I also speak French (working proficiency) and am currently improving my Arabic too.
I have 17 years of experience in the industry gained in London, Cape Town and the UAE, and have taught in language and business schools, mainstream schools, and privately.
I have led student tours for most of the language schools I have worked in.
I am also qualified and experienced in the Hospitality industry and studied this field in London.
My students have ranged from Russian civil engineers to 72-year-old beginner students to refugees in England.
I graduated from the University of Cape Town with a degree in English Language and Literature and a professional teaching qualification (postgraduate).
I completed my TEFL certificate with ITTT and IELTS Academic with IDP Australia (8.5 score).
Additionally, I've completed a number of professional development courses with Futurelearn and IDP Australia to keep my skills updated. These include Pronunciation skills with Language Fuel New Zealand and Applied Linguistics at the University of Leeds.

As a creative with a great passion for the English language and its cultural background, I use highly immersive and engaging strategies to teach the language. I have lived in Dubai for 11 years and am intimately acquainted with its nooks and crannies, as well as its broad cultural diversity.
