I am an experienced Employability and Skills Trainer with over 15 years of experience working in customer-facing roles in the UK and internationally. Throughout my career, communication, supporting people and building confidence have been at the heart of what I do.

I hold a Level 5 qualification in Education and Training, a TEFL qualification* and Level 3 qualifications in Advice, Information and Guidance and Business Administration. My professional experience, combined with my education and training background, allows me to create lessons that are both supportive and practical.

As a native English speaker, I specialise in conversation-based English lessons designed to help everyday learners become more confident speaking English in real-life situations. Whether you want to improve your English for work, travel, social situations or everyday communication, my lessons are relaxed, encouraging and focused on helping you speak.

I believe one of the easiest and most effective ways to learn English is to use it regularly through conversation. You don't need to speak perfect English before you start talking. Making mistakes is a natural and important part of learning, and I aim to create a comfortable environment where you can practise without feeling nervous or judged.

Is English difficult to learn? It can feel challenging at first, especially when you're learning new vocabulary, expressions, pronunciation and different ways of communicating. However, with regular practice and the right support, English can become much easier and more natural.

How long does it take to learn English? Everyone learns at a different pace. It depends on your starting level, your goals and how regularly you practise. I encourage students to make English part of their everyday life and to focus on consistent speaking practice rather than trying to be perfect.

My experience as an Employability and Skills Trainer also means I understand how important communication and confidence are in the workplace. I can help learners develop the practical English skills they need to participate in conversations, communicate with colleagues and customers, and feel more confident in professional situations.
