Frequently Asked Questions

What is the easiest way to learn English in City of London?

The easiest way to learn English in London is to take classes regularly, complete your homework to the best of your abilities, get feedback from your teacher and address her feedback. During this process, it's beneficial to have a community of people who also speak English at different levels and who are easy to reach. Ideally you would meet people outside of your classroom and socialise with them. If you are passionate about a particular activity, such as dance, sport or art, I would strongly recommend to find a circle of people who share your passion AND speak English. These days you can socialise in a hybrid mode: sometimes meeting them face-to-face and sometimes online. This additional regular practice in a relaxed atmosphere where you don't feel the pressure to compose perfectly accurate sentences like in your classes, will help you develop fluency and enjoy speaking English while doing something you love.

Is it difficult to learn English in City of London?

London has a lot of opportunities to practise English, however, it still might be challenging. London is a very fast-paced place where it's easy to see people rushing to work or to school, in and our of the tube. It's important to establish long-term connections with people who speak English in order to get as much practice as possible.
