A budding English Tutor who would like to teach English

My background has mainly been in education. working as a Teaching Assistant face-to-face and briefly online: I worked with FSE and ESOL adult learners, so this would be my first tutoring role.

From my experience, I would like student(s) to share their thoughts about how they feel about the English Language and what they hope to achieve from the sessions. Then take it from there in terms of addressing any language or literacy needs.

The length of the sessions could be mutually agreed upon, no pressure. I would like the adult learner(s) to enjoy learning English.

Last year, I completed the Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) at the online course provider called Course Line. I also have a 120-Hour TEFL Certificate awarded by the online provider known as International Open Academy and acquired a BA Honours degree in Humanities from the University of Leicester (external) many moons ago.
