Focus is on speaking and listening with homework centering on reading and writing. Lessons are specific to the learner's needs and interests. I currently am teaching a couple of high school courses to prepare students for the Cambridge Advanced English exams. I can help you, too!

Lessons are interactive and fun. The students are actively involved in speaking, listening and responding in the English language. There are lots of hands-on materials to facilitate the learning process, no matter how much English you know or don't know. Speaking is essential. Conversations will revolve around reading material and information you want to know more about: functional English, social-conversational, work-related, business or academic levels.

I am an American, native-English speaker with a Master's degree in teaching English as a Foreign Language. I have ten years of experience in teaching students at a wide range of ages and academic levels. For the last four years, I have lived and taught English in the Netherlands to grade school and high school children and adults. I have taught at two secondary schools preparing student for the Cambridge exams.
