Why?
My #1 goal in teaching isn’t to make the perfect lesson plan or cover a specific number of topics per day.
My goal is for students to really learn.
Whether they want to improve their grammar, speak fluently, build their vocabulary, or simply gain a deeper understanding of the language.
How do I make this possible?
Through making learning enjoyable.
For one thing, I’m a person who believes there are NO BORING SUBJECTS…
…ONLY BORING TEACHERS.
For a teacher with enthusiasm, passion, and a deep understanding of the subject matter, any subject can be a fun adventure instead of a chore.
So, that’s my goal.
My mission is to make every lesson enjoyable, entertaining, and memorable.
And I’m not without experience.
I’ve been an ESL teacher for 5 years, teaching numerous subjects such as speaking, reading, vocabulary, and listening.
I’ve also had 2 years of extensive online teaching experience - this is important since learning through a computer is SO DIFFERENT from learning face-to-face.
I’ve taught students of all ages, from kindergarten kids to retired seniors.
I’m eager to take my passion, experience, and knowledge of the ESL world to help you grow and develop a better understanding of the English language.
