Native English speaker living in Hungary for 5 years now

As many African countries were colonised by the British, many of us speak English as a first language. We study it for 12 years and it is the day to day language. One of these countries includes Nigeria; where I am from. English is my first language and it is what I have spoken all my life. I have also written the IGCSE English exam and finished with an excellent result.

I also have lots of experience with teaching. I have been a tutor for the past 7 years. In my high school back home in Nigeria, we had a place called the Learning Resource Center, where students and teachers volunteered to help other students who were struggling in certain aspects of the school. This was unpaid, volunteer work. I took part in this as a tutor for the last three years of high school before graduation. I came to the University of Debrecen to study medicine in September of 2016. It is a 7-year course( optional 1 year for pre-med which I did, and 6 years of medical school). I am currently in my 4th year of medical school.

Being here since 2016 means that I have lived in Hungary for almost 5 years now. In this time I have been able to converse with many Hungarian and help their English as well get involved in local communities.
