- 22 years teaching in a UK university, specializing in essays and dissertations for art students and MA Creative Writing students (varying ages from late teens to mature adults, many from overseas, with varying English skills); some experience working with younger children

- Particular attention paid to making correctly spoken and written English accessible and rewarding
- Varied teaching methods, eg conversation, exercises, tests in a range of formats and registers

- Experience in tailoring courses to specific needs, for example, large or small groups, one-on-one, those wishing to focus on different types of English (eg academic, business, conversational, etc), and those with varying levels of English
