I am an experienced English teacher with over 8 years of teaching experience, specializing in Cambridge English qualifications, including Young Learners exams such as Flyers, Movers, and Key English Test (KET), as well as Preliminary English Test (PET). I have successfully prepared students for these exams by focusing on all core language skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
My teaching approach is student-centered and adaptable, ensuring lessons are engaging, structured, and tailored to individual learning needs. I emphasize practical language use, exam strategies, and confidence-building to help students achieve their target scores.
I have worked with learners of different ages and proficiency levels, helping them improve their grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and overall communication skills. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel motivated and supported throughout their English learning journey.
The easiest way to learn English is through consistent daily practice combined with real-life exposure. Instead of only focusing on grammar rules, learners should actively use the language by listening, speaking, reading, and writing every day.
I recommend starting with simple, practical English—such as common phrases and everyday conversations—while gradually building vocabulary and confidence. Watching videos, listening to podcasts, and speaking with others are especially effective for improving fluency.
It’s also important to learn in a structured way, with clear goals and guidance, especially when preparing for exams. With the right support, regular practice, and a positive mindset, anyone can learn English effectively and confidently.
he time required to learn English depends more on the learner’s starting level, goals, and consistency than on the city itself. However, being in a student-friendly city like Brno can provide more opportunities for practice and exposure.
With regular study and proper guidance, most learners can reach a conversational level within 6–12 months, while achieving a higher level may take 1–2 years. In my 8 years of teaching experience, I have found that consistent practice, clear goals, and active use of the language are the most important factors for success.
