Private Dutch Tutor in Sydney and Online
I am a retired Dutch engineer, entrepreneur, mediator, coach, and mentor. I have been living in Sydney, Australia for the last 25 years with my Australian wife who is now fluent in Dutch :). I am fluent in English while Dutch will always remain my mother tongue in language and culture. I am keen to share the language and any cultural habits with students. I will teach face to face or online, meet you at the level you’re at, and focus on what you want to learn (better), be it speaking, listening, reading or writing, informal or business conversations, vocabulary, or grammar. I will teach in a patient matter, transferring any knowledge you seek, and prioritizing what you want to learn fast. Together we will link Dutch to the language you are used to, enabling you to pick up any differences and discover the fun of developing a Dutch perspective along the way, as a language is not only words but represents a culture as well.

How easy is it to learn Dutch in Sydney?
It is as easy as your motivation, the more you want to learn Dutch the easier it will be. How quickly you will pick it all up will largely depend on the language(s) you speak already and your related understanding of language concepts, grammar, root languages, and language associations. The more you can see links between languages and their developments, the more fun it becomes to work with them, even your own mother tongue is likely to have hidden surprises for you!
How much time does it take to learn Dutch in Sydney?
You can spend as much time learning Dutch as you want. You will make progress accordingly: the more time you spend learning Dutch the faster you will improve. I am very patient and will work with you on an intensity that suits your needs.
