My name is Adil, I am 29 years old and I live in Copenhagen.
I have a degree in business communication from the University of Aarhus, and I have worked as a digital media advisor in an international media agency.
Today, I work as a travel leader and teach young people project management, team building, self-development and communication. In addition, I work as a freelance guide in Copenhagen, blog editor, translator and online teacher in Danish.
As a person I am energetic, outgoing, empathetic, independent, structured, curious and happy.
I love to travel, to work with people and to work with learning. It is important for me to establish a good relationship with my students and my fellow travelers so that I can understand their needs, what motivates them and what their learning style is so that I can teach them in the most optimal way. My teaching approach is first and foremost about understanding which learning style works best for the student. Is it a visual, auditory, kinesthetic or tactile learning style? After that, I work out my teaching plan focusing on the student's needs and interests. If we talk about things that are relevant and of interest to the student, then the student will be motivated and engaged. I also teach with a great deal of commitment because I love what I do and it reflects a lot on my students.
In my teaching there is room for both failure and victory. There is room to be curious and to ask questions. There is room to laugh and play because learning must be fun. And then there is room to be challenged.
From my many travels, I have learned that the best way to learn a new language is by speaking, speaking, speaking! Therefore, I focus on teaching through dialogue so that you learn to use the language in your everyday life.
