Danish lessons with personality and a passion for language

Hi! My name is Johanne, and I’m a native Danish speaker based in Odense. I teach Danish for adults at all levels — whether you are a complete beginner or looking to improve your fluency and confidence.

Even though I do not have formal teaching experience, I have always been deeply passionate about the Danish language, especially grammar and the small details that make the language unique. I genuinely enjoy helping people grow and seeing their progress over time gives me a lot of energy and motivation.

My teaching style is structured, patient, and relaxed at the same time. I adapt my lessons to each student’s needs and learning style, and I always welcome input and questions during lessons. I believe learning works best when you feel comfortable, encouraged, and able to laugh along the way.

Besides languages, I enjoy creative hobbies like sewing, crochet, knitting, and embroidery, as well as nature, TV series, and singing. I love meaningful conversations and creating a friendly atmosphere where students feel safe practicing Danish.

I offer both online and in-person lessons in Odense. I look forward to helping you become more confident in Danish!
