Hello! My name is Beja (she/her) and I grew up in Olomouc, Czech Republic. Having travelled the world, from Czechia, to India, to the US, I have developed a deep passion for language learning and teaching! I have previously helped immigrants from different cultural backgrounds in Czechia study for their language tests in order to obtain work permits, and more recently, I also started teaching a beginner Czech course at a cultural center! What is the easiest way to learn Czech in Chicago?
Go to the local Czech heritage events, there are plenty! It is a great way to meet Czech native speakers and practice your confidence speaking. It is also one of the best ways to learn about the rich Czech American history in Chicago and Czech culture.
Is Czech easy to learn?
Czech is definitely not an easy language to learn, but most Czech people are aware of that. We also grow up having to rigorously study grammar patterns and sentence structures. Please know that anyone you meet will appreciate whatever effort you put in!
