I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English, where I studied linguistics, pedagogy, and intercultural communication. This background has given me a solid foundation in both language theory and effective teaching methods. After graduation, I began teaching Chinese to students from different countries and age groups, both online and in person.
I have helped several foreign students prepare for the HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test), providing structured lessons covering listening, speaking, reading, and writing. For beginners, I usually combine pinyin practice, basic vocabulary, and real-life dialogues with visual aids. For more advanced learners or exam takers, I focus on grammar, reading comprehension, and mock tests to build accuracy and confidence.
My classes follow the Situational Teaching Method and Communicative Approach, emphasizing real-life communication and cultural context. I often include Chinese songs, idioms, stories, and cultural discussions—such as traditional festivals, cuisine, and instruments like the pipa—to make learning both fun and meaningful.
I believe that genuine interest is the key to successful learning. My teaching style is friendly, interactive, and student-centered, aiming to help each learner build confidence and truly enjoy the process of learning Chinese.
