Teaching Experience:
With over seven years of experience, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching more than 100 students, ranging in age from 5 to 40, and with diverse cultural backgrounds.

2018–2020: Chinese Teacher at community Chinese schools in Brisbane and Melbourne, focusing on foundational language skills for a variety of student ages.

2021: Registered Chinese Teacher (PTT) at the Victorian School of Languages, teaching two classes of students with no prior Chinese background.

2022: Placement at Haileybury (Keysborough Campus), where I taught Chinese to primary students from Year 1 to Year 6, creating an engaging introduction to the language.

2023–2024: Currently tutoring primary and secondary students in private sessions. For VCE Chinese preparation, I offer specialized support in vocabulary, conversation, reading comprehension, and grammar. Recent test results demonstrate the success of this structured approach.

Programs Offered:

Chinese for Children ($60):
For primary school students, I provide customized lessons in Basic Chinese, Pinyin, and character recognition with visual aids. Lessons are carefully designed to match each child’s developmental stage and focus on pronunciation, reading, and writing, ensuring consistent progress toward fluency and accuracy.

Spoken Chinese ($60):
Ideal for students seeking to improve their conversational skills, this course uses practical, real-life scenarios to boost confidence and fluency. Each session covers useful topics, sentence structures, and conversation practice tailored to everyday communication needs.

HSK Preparation ($70):
For students preparing for the HSK exam, this program provides systematic training in vocabulary, grammar, and conversational skills essential for both daily and academic contexts.

VCE Preparation ($80):
This comprehensive course prepares students for VCE Chinese exams, including Chinese Second Language, Chinese Second Language Advanced, and Chinese Language, Culture, and Society courses. The program focuses on listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, supported by past exam materials to build effective exam techniques.

I am a Monash student- master's degree in teaching Chinese, and I graduated from the University of Queensland - a master’s degree in education. I have experience working with students of different ages and backgrounds. I am a Chinese teacher in one of Melbourne's Chinese schools, I’ve helped over 100 students improve their Chinese level, from beginning to advanced level.
