Learning Bisaya/Mandarin 101

A graduate of Master of Arts in Mathematics Education at Cebu Normal University, Philippines. Have undergone experiences and training that could attest to competence as well as school years were marked with achievements that would highlight the skills relevant to the position. My teaching skills are above average and can assure to do the job well.

I started my career as a substitute teacher in one of the pioneering science schools in Cebu City, Philippines after offering home tutorials and being an ESL Teacher. Way back then, I was assigned to handle Elementary Algebra. Then, I was hired permanently after a month and have been promoted thrice for the last 18 years. I used to handle classes for Grade 7 Mathematics as well as Grade 9 and 10 Chinese Mandarin. I'm an experienced teacher who has facilitated students in junior high school through differentiated teaching methods like integrating technology for 21st-century learners to accommodate their varying learning styles. I'm also an advocate of diversity representing minorities, socioeconomic status and second language learners. I'd be more willing to work with my fellow teachers in planning lessons and activities. One could be quantifying test results for interventions and even be more interested in after-school tutorials to help struggling students. I believe the partnership of parents and educators should work in good constant communication.
