The local language is Cantonese, for foreigners that learning Chinese/Mandarin as second language, they have to find a native mandarin speaker. There are not many people who are native madarin speaker, moreover there are even fewer professional tutors who is trained to teach Mandarin to non-native speakers.
How much time does it take to learn Chinese / Mandarin in Macao?
Depends on the learner's level. Usually from a basic to intermediate level may take several months to one year. The frequency of study and learner's ability also has to be considered.
