Hi! This is Irene I am a native Mandarin speaker from Taiwan and currently living in Southern California. I can speak Mandarin, English, and a little Spanish.
English and a little bit Spanish.
📝Every student has different learning goals, I will tailor the lessons according to student’s need to help you reach your goals and create a comfortable and fun learning environment!
🥳I love cultural diversity and languages. Now I am learning Spanish. Also I am very interested in latin American cultures. Besides, I like to share my culture to you that feel more local!


📚About my teaching experiences📚
✅I had worked as teacher assistant of a Chinese school in California. I helped children on reading and writing of Pinyin, and also plan in-class activity for them.
✅I had assisted oversea students with oral practice and writing Chinese characters and complete various projects, such as Mandarin songs video and Chinese dubbed video.
✅I also had worked as an English tutor. I assisted teacher in preparing lesson outlines and grading papers. I helped students who need extra support and guidance to complete daily tasks.

•All levels are welcome! Don't worry about if you have no experience with learning Mandarin!
•I can teach both Pinyin or Zhuyin, Traditional or Simplified Characters. Depends on your preferences.
•We can follow the textbook to have more systematic learning and build up solid foundation.
•We can have conversation lesson to enhance your oral speaking and listening.
•Extra work might required after lesson for practicing your Chinese! (Writing, reading, or audio, etc)
•For advanced students, you can choose specific topics you want to learn and focus on!
•I will use additional materials for further learning purposes such as videos, TV series, and Mandarin songs, etc.
•I would like to encourage students to speak more Mandarin in class or even in daily life! I am happy and patient in helping you to speak more and feeling comfortable to talk with native speakers!
•I love my cultural heritages! So you will learn Taiwanese culture and some local slangs :)
