Learn Chinese the Fun Way — Effective, Enjoyable, and Stress
I am a native Chinese speaker with four years of experience teaching Chinese at the university. Currently, I live in Slovenia and mainly teach Chinese online. I speak Mandarin Chinese, English, Teochew, Hakka, and Cantonese. I hold a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages.
I am a certified Chinese teacher issued by the Chinese Ministry of Education, and I also hold the Chinese Teacher Certificate (TCSOL). In addition, I have a Level 2-A Mandarin Proficiency Certificate.
I strongly believe in personalized teaching. My students come from very diverse backgrounds: university students majoring in Sinology, primary school students who started learning Chinese at the age of eight, retired lawyers who developed a passion for Chinese after retirement, and chemistry majors who became interested in Chinese culture through Chinese TV dramas. I design different teaching plans based on each student’s needs, making my classes both engaging and effective. The teaching materials I have used include the HSK series, Happy Chinese, New Practical Chinese Reader, New Silk Road Business Chinese, and Practical Audio-Visual Chinese (Traditional Chinese)……
I love teaching languages, and I also love learning them. I am currently learning Slovene myself, so I deeply understand that learning a foreign language requires long-term commitment and perseverance. I also understand the struggles and frustrations of self-study. As a Chinese teacher, my goal is to provide learners with proper guidance and support and to accompany them on their Chinese learning journey.
