I am a language teacher with professionalism, and I aim to provide high quality teaching to support my students. I believe that learning a language is the stepping stone to seeing a different world, because we all need language for communication.

I have been teaching Mandarin in Brisbane for four years. Currently, I teach weekly at a community college. Last year I completed my Educational Master’s degree through the Queensland University of Technology. I am also currently undertaking a Master’s of Teaching (Chinese as a foreign language) through Taiwan Normal University. Prior to, and during the pandemic, I also taught language programs at John Paul and St Lawrence college.

I love coaching students to be confident when they speak in a foreign language. I believe that the impossible is possible, and that the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Let’s start learning Mandarin!
