Great Chinese Class For Your Interest and Business Future

Private Chinese / Mandarin Tutor in Hong Kong and Online

Hello/Ni hao,

I'm Biyin from Shanghai, China.
As a certified online Chinese Mandarin teacher, helping your Chinese learning and also sharing Chinese culture is my work and enthusiasm.
Also, I'm an energetic and proactive person, I'll bring you an interesting experience of speaking Chinese, for example, the way we pronounce is good for facial muscles, Seriously, that's why our Chinese women look younger than we are.

The way we think has so many reasonable old idioms to suggest, like "Sunlight comes after the rain stops", 雨过天晴yǔ guò tiān qíng, it helps us to think well and do right.
There is so much to be shared, we also have color codes, Chinese never wear a green hat, why?

Chinese food language, which means some food will be served at a certain of situations and festivals like fish is a must to go with Chinese NEW year holiday.

Wow, are you interested in knowing more about those rich cultures while learning and speaking this powerful language? I also would like to help your Business Chinese, there are more and more opportunities between China and your country to develop?

Briefly speaking, my working experience is as follows:
◐I have 《Certificate for teaching Chinese as a foreign language》 by The Ministry of Education Of The People’s Republic Of China
◐2009-2010 Official exchange program to work as a Chinese teacher in the Chinese Department Whitman College in WA in the USA.
◐2011~ Now worked as a language trainer for multinational companies' language projects in Shanghai. Including McKinsey & Co, Swarovski, Coke, Control Risks, DHR, Air New Zealand, NAB, Norway General counsel, Volvo Cars, Schneider, etc.

Providing Chinese classes & Cross-cultural insight for business professionals and their families.

◐2016~2021 Worked as a contracted Mandarin trainer in an American relocation company for business professionals and their families in Shanghai, most of the time at online classes.

One of the European learners was in Fashion retail, he needed related Chinese words which can carry on conversations with his local colleagues in China, I organized a list of words & drills for him, we achieved a productive result.

◐The Chinese language is a straightforward and well-structured language, which means if your know some foundational words, then you can start to "Lego" other words.

Eg: Ni hao is Hello in Chinese, ni means you, hao means good/ok, see, chunking down the words help you find out more.

◐There are 80% of Chinese words are A-B structure, which means 2 syllable words, so easy to speak and remember.

◐More importantly, Chinese grammar has solid structures, basically.

"Time flies, People first, location comes after, Action changes at the end."

The rest of the things we need to do is learn new words and apply them to the grammar structures in different scenarios accordingly.

◐ I also appreciate interaction and communication in class, which help us to work as a good team in a good dynamic.
◐ My basic teaching methodology is

◐ SWAP- Structures with accessible practice

Chinese language grammars are stably structured and straightforward, so that's the most useful foundation, the rest of the thing is to apply new words to practice.

◐ Onions Concept for speaking skills

learning in different stages and speaking more and more, and adding more words into the structured grammar structures. It helps learners feel accessible and unforgettable.

Eg:Time+ People + Location+Action+Object
you can make it either simple or informative in a sentence.
One of my French learners really enjoys the "Onion" way to speak more and more, better and better.
Action talks, let's get started! 开始吧 Kāi shǐ ba!

Many thanks
Cathy
