Hi, my name is Lulu. I was born in Jilin, China and I speak standard Putonghua (Mandarin). I had two years experience of tutoring Mandarin in Beijing and London. My BA major was in English Literature and Linguistics and my MA major was Conference Interpreting in Mandarin and English (London Metropolitan University). I lived in the UK for the last 10 years and I've got lots of cross-cultural experience. I would love to get to know my students and help them improve their Mandarin. Learning can be fun!
At the moment, I only teach children and female adults.

How easy is it to learn Chinese / Mandarin in Hong Kong?
Yes it is easy. Because I will help you find a way that suits you to learn Mandarin and it is important to create a language environment to practise. I have taught my own children (their dad is English) Mandarin and they are still improving now. I am very patient and I'm sure we can work together to improve your Chinese.
What is the easiest way to learn Chinese / Mandarin in Hong Kong?
I always believe that to learn a language, you have to use it every day. I learned English in China from Grade 3 then when I got married and moved to London, I found it still hard because I didn't use English often in Beijing. I would love to help you practise in different scenarios and use this language with great confidence!
