English/Mandarin/Cantonese
Hi, I am Yui. "Yui" may seem unfamiliar to any Mandarin beginners. It is a Cantonese name that shares Chinese origin but does not share the same pinyin phonics as Pǔtōnghuà.
This is just a snippet of the more complex language and cultural mix about the Chinese language. so about me...
I am a Master's student at Shanghai Jiaotong University, currently visiting Denmark. Due to COVID-19, I have been able to both travel and study remotely to work on my thesis - Denmark became my stop-over location. Before my Masters, I have worked as a tutor to teach 9-13 yrs old through creative learning at a school in London and also worked as a private tutor for a year in Hong Kong.
To be able to speak and learn a language is best to approach it along with cultural appreciation. In my classes, I will introduce various topics and themes suggested by myself or a choice of yours. And using that as base material and I will teach the language through exercises and textbooks.
Cantonese is difficult, mandarin is easier. This is because Cantonese does not have an English alphabet that is connected to the phonics.
It would be. Mandarin would be a better option.
