ONLINE LESSONS ONLY - Hey, my future students!! Here are some facts about me.
-I was born in Hong Kong; Grew up in mainland China; Came to Australia for senior high school, university and work!
-Currently, I am working as a physiotherapist in ADELAIDE.
-I am a native mandarin speaker and fluent English speaker
-I have 3+ years of experience in teaching/ tutoring
-My modes/ methods of teaching are based on your Mandarin baseline level, goals that want to achieve and your preferred teaching skills.
-I will tailor the class to each individual student. Lessons will be interesting and useful.
-I think the easiest way to learn mandarin is to put yourself into a mandarin speaking environment (KEY: communication)
-We will also discuss Chinese culture to enhance your study interests (Chinese festivals, Chinese-pop music, history in Chinese, Chinese drama...)

Cherry is very patient and knows how to adopt teaching styles to the different moods of my daughter. My daughter is only 4 and some days she’s a grumpy little monster but somehow Cherry gets her attention and focus on learning. Since Cherry started coming over my daughter’s fluency improved significantly. She has done such a great job

Cherry is a great tutor. I highly recommend her because she caters for each student's needs. She will prepare particular sentence or words if you tell her in advance and I found that this is very helpful especially for my work.

Cherry has helped me overcome my fear of making mistakes as she is very patient, encouraging and supportive which is super helpful. She sets the tone as a friendly vibe, as she is also learning more about the English language and culture. We're in it together, which makes it fun and enjoyable to fumble bumble into forming the right sounds that make up Mandarin words. Each week I've come back with something new to learn and practise at my own pace. Can't wait to get back to it!
