Spanish, Catalan and English classes in the Helsinki region

Bon dia! I am Daniel, a university student from Barcelona currently studying in Helsinki. Raised in a bilingual environment, and with a deep passion for linguistics and literature, I have been tutoring both Spanish and Catalan to English speakers since 2021. My methodology divides learners into three different paths depending on their priorities with the language:
1. If you're planning a trip to Spain and would like to learn the basics of the local language so you can move around the city, ask for directions, and order in a bar; the Survival Spanish course is for you. We will focus on key vocabulary and explore the most common sentences according to your interests and objectives. This plan can be adapted to the time available before your flight, and the goal is for you to lose the fear of Spanish. This course also has a Catalan variant that focuses on the truly local experiences, usually inaccessible to tourists, of everyday life in Barcelona.
2. If you do not have any experience with the language, but you are interested in a more thorough learning experience, you should opt for Introduction to Catalan or Introduction to Spanish respectively. We will start from the basics of grammar and syntax and build up a solid foundation with the objective of reaching a professional level of writing and speaking. The sessions include listening and writing exercises, as well as a reading project of your choice to make sure you stay consistent in your learning.
3. If you are relatively fluent in the language but would benefit from specialized practice in a specific area such as conversation, formal writing, or literary analysis, I offer personalized sessions to bring you closer to proficiency.
