Good day and Mingalarpar! I was born and raised in Yangon, Myanmar, and I am a Burmese native. Following my high school education, I spent the majority of the past eight years living abroad and primarily speaking English (and a bit of Japanese). I hold a Bachelor of Information Technology degree with a major in Game Development and Design from Monash University. As a freelance English to Burmese or Burmese to English tutor, I have experience working with students online. Additionally, I have instructed individuals in conversational English from beginner to intermediate levels. In the field of computer science, I have experience working as an inspiring instructor for teaching subjects such as web development, Python, JavaScript, and Java. I would be more than happy to teach Myanmarsar to students who are interested in the language and excited to share my culture with the world.
In my experience, finding individuals who are proficient in the Burmese language (Myanmarsar) can be a challenge, particularly in Melbourne, Australia. However, I find that once you have a solid understanding of the language's grammar, studying Burmese is not particularly difficult.
Due to the limited number of individuals of Burmese descent residing in Melbourne or teaching the language, it can be challenging to remember specific words and pronunciations if one does not frequently use them.
