My name is Andrea R. Caparoso. I am 22 years old, a graduate of Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges - General Santos City (RMMC-GSC), a scholar of RMMC-SPNI, and completed a degree of Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Physical Education this June 2023. The degree that I took is very flexible in many subject areas and etc. I found my degree was best applied to teaching.
As per my experience, I was assigned to my practice teaching in ILSNHSMD (Ireneo L. Santiago National High School of Metro Dadiangas). Almost three months of internship in the said school brought me much learning, especially in teaching and honing the skills of the students. The seasoned teachers in ILSNHSMD taught me how to be a globally competitive teacher, to be the better version of myself, and to keep my feet on the ground. Because of this, I was able to develop my communication skills and my pedagogy and I believe that it helped me to be more prepared for a greater challenge which is to finally embrace the job of being a full-time educator.
In addition, I was a Soccer/Futsal from high school to college. I also participated in various activities such as leadership training and community involvement programs. My experience will be my armor to mold my future students not just academically but socially. As a young educator, I believe that instilling the importance of social involvement in the students plays a key role in their success and I am hoping you are going to give me a chance to put it into practice and to share it with the students of your institution this thing I strongly believe in.
