I am a toddler mom, singer and Bangali at heart. Bangla/ Bengali is my mother tongue. I have dabbled in a bit of creative writingin Bangla, and bangla theatre.
Like learning any other language, ease of learning Bangla/ Bengali depends on your end goal. How quickly do you want to learn, how much time you can dedicate, who would you like to communicate with, knowing answers to these questions yourself would help you with learning.
Pronunciation of Bengali is quite close to Dutch Pronunciation, so if you know the local language here, it should be fairly easy once you start practicing.
I would encourage you to watch videos in Bangla, make friends, practice talking, and read Bengali books while learning.
