I am a Bengali by birth. Currently, I am doing my studies at a university in Hsinchu, Taiwan.
I have learnt to speak bengali since the time, I have learned to speak. And, then, in my school till 12th grade, Bengali has been a compulsory language to study. But, that's just for your assurance. My love of Bengali came from my father who worked as a Bengali teacher all his life. I have read Rabindranath, Satyajit, Bibhutibushan, Sukanta, Sunil, Sarat Chandra and so many other writers and everyday, even today, I cannot go to sleep without an amazing bengali novel by my bedside. What's more? I love to recite Jibonanada and sing Rabindranath and Lalan Geet. "Geet" means song.
I cannot force you to learn Bengali but if you really want to learn it, WELCOME! I will show you how soulful, our language is.
