Hi! I am Kanan, and I am from Azerbaijan. I have been teaching Azerbaijani for a year now, and I have had several students so far. My main major is English language and literature, and I have BA and MA degrees in this field. I also teach English. However, I do love teaching Azerbaijani, and I would love to help those who want to learn my language. At first, we will learn basic grammar, vocabulary, and speaking skills. Then, we will slowly build sentences while using the speaking-based learning method. I do have my own materials, and I will provide you with all the necessary materials during our courses.

Is Azerbaijani easy to learn?
It is a Turkic language. It might be a bit different than many Indo-European or other language families. However, it is easier than many other languages as it does not have gender or articles. Besides, it does not have as many tenses as we would have in English or French.
How much time does it take to learn Azerbaijani in Istanbul?
It might take a few lessons to learn the basic tenses and words in the language. However, you will master your speaking skills in your first lesson. As I have mentioned before, my lessons are based on a speaking-based learning method. So it won't take too long for you to use basic Azerbaijani:)
