I am a native Armenian speaker with over 15 years of experience in language teaching, journalism, and podcasting. I hold a Master’s degree in Armenian Studies and a Bachelor's in Armenian Philology. I’ve taught both Eastern and Western Armenian to students of all ages — from young learners to professionals working in diplomacy and government.
My teaching style is interactive, student-centered, and adapted to your goals and interests. Whether you want to speak fluently, read Armenian literature, or connect with your roots, I will guide you through a step-by-step, culturally rich learning experience. I’ve designed online classes, creative writing workshops, and even recorded Armenian audiobooks — all with the goal of making the language come alive.
Whether you're starting from scratch or continuing your learning journey, I’m here to help you gain confidence and enjoy every step. Learning Armenian is not just about language — it’s a doorway to history, identity, and a vibrant culture. I look forward to learning with you!
At first, Armenian may seem challenging, especially due to its unique alphabet and grammar. But with the right teacher and consistent practice, it becomes much easier than many expect. The best way is through regular practice, immersion, and real-life usage. I make learning easier by combining grammar with conversation, stories, songs, and cultural insights. Students often tell me that lessons feel more like discovery than study.
It depends on your pace and goals. With one or two lessons per week and some independent practice, many students reach conversational level within 6 to 12 months.
