My Arabic Teaching Experience
I began my formal Arabic education at Jamia Markaz, Kerala, in 2010 and successfully graduated in 2012. My time at Jamia Markaz was pivotal in shaping my understanding of the Arabic language, its depth, and its significance in Islamic studies. This foundational training equipped me with the tools to understand and teach Arabic with clarity and purpose.
Since 2016, I have been working as a Theology teacher at Jibreel International School. My role here encompasses teaching Arabic, Islamic Studies, and the Qur’an. Over the years, I have had the privilege of educating students from diverse backgrounds, helping them develop a deep connection with the language of the Qur’an. My teaching focuses not just on linguistic proficiency but also on understanding Arabic as a means to grasp Islamic texts and their wisdom.
At Jibreel International School, I have implemented a holistic teaching approach that combines classical Arabic grammar (Nahw and Sarf), rhetoric (Balagha), and Quranic understanding. This ensures that students not only learn the structure of the language but also its application in understanding the Qur’an and Islamic sciences. Additionally, I integrate modern methodologies with traditional techniques to make learning more engaging and impactful for my students.
Teaching Arabic has always been more than a profession for me—it is a passion and a responsibility. I believe that by mastering Arabic, students can unlock the treasures of Islamic knowledge and connect with their faith on a deeper level. My goal is to inspire students to see Arabic as a tool for intellectual and spiritual growth, enabling them to contribute meaningfully to their communities and uphold the values of Islam.
My journey from Jamia Markaz to Jibreel International School has been one of continuous learning and teaching. It has been an honor to guide my students through this sacred language and watch them grow in their understanding of Arabic and Islam.
