My native language is Swahili and I hold a bachelor's degree in arts majoring in English and Literature. I am currently pursuing a post-graduate diploma in education as well which is an added advantage to my skillset. I am a passionate Teacher with experience developing and implementing diverse curriculums covering a wide range of subjects. Highly skilled at motivating students through positive encouragement and reinforcement of concepts via interactive classroom instruction and observation. Successful in helping students develop strong literacy, numeracy, social, and learning skills. I have been doing private practice (English and Swahili tutor) for two years, as well as a BOM teacher for one year. I like tutoring students on languages because of my passion for having conversations with my students thus allowing them to develop their speaking skills. Learning Swahili is quite easy and hence why I prefer having conversations with my students as I have had a high success rate with my students through this method.
