Hi, my name is Kate, a Mandarin-Chinese tutor from Taiwan. I got a TCSOL and TQUK teaching certificate issued by the US and the UK training institute respectively. I can teach both simplified and traditional characters. I got a degree in English literature and I am currently learning German and French. Last year, I was teaching at LTL language school in Taipei where I got to meet students from around the world. Before the pandemic, I was working as a flight attendant with Singapore Airlines. Having the opportunities to travel and experience different cultures before, I acquired some knowledge to design interesting lessons for my students. Learning languages is fun. Languages reflect so much about the ideology, culture, and living environment of a group of people and countries. I am currently mainly teaching online and most of my students are from America. However, I hope I can meet more local students. In my lessons, you will learn about grammar structure, PinYin, and Chinese radicals if you are a beginner. If you are an intermediate, I will strengthen your grammatical knowledge and design some real-life scenarios for you to practice speaking.
