- Half Japanese, native Japanese, English, and mandarin speaker
- Has N1 certificate
- lived in Japan when I was young
- can teach beginners, N5 to N3 level.
- online $50/h (at least 1 hr)
- face to face $65/hr (at least 1.5hr)
- went for one year of moelc Japanese lesson and scored above 95% for all exams so I am familiar with moelc lessons and can prepare students going to moelc (students going from Cs and Ds to As)
- self studied korean for 4 months and got topik 2 194/200 so i know how one should study when learning a new language
- 4 years experience in teaching Japanese (2~60yrs old)
- uses different methods to teach different students
- familiar with young Japanese culture so I can share what songs/dramas/phrases etc are trending in Japan while teaching Japanese

Mimi is an excellent teacher and a very friendly person. This is my first online session I am taking to learn a language and I found her teaching methods are really helpful and keep me engaged throughout the session. Her teaching materials are very simple and creative which helps me to remember Japanese characteristics and words better. I am looking forward to continuing my class with her.

Mimi is a wonderful Japanese tutor. In term of tuition timing arrangement, she is very flexible and able to accomodate my work and personal schedule. I had some basic knowledge on Japanese before attending Mimi's lesson. Her ability to spot my weaknesses, like pronounciation, helps me improving my Japanese substantially in few sessions. Ms Mimi is very friendly and patient teacher. She willing to guide you when you are not understand the words. Besides that, she also like to share some fun fact about Japanese to make the class is fun.

Miss Mimi makes her lesson fun by preparing games and videos to engage my daughter. She is receptive to feedbacks and makes changes to her lesson. She also ensures that the lesson is conducted at a comfortable pace for my daughter to follow. A very pleasant and approachable teacher.
