I've lived in Slovenia my entire life and I come from a family where parents always insisted on us children to speak grammarly correct Slovenian. I speak fluent English and I also attended International Business School where lessons are held in English. From experience, the most effective way to learn Slovenian is by far by being in touch with a native. When my colleagues from university who came from abroad were learning Slovenian, I’ve noticed that workbooks are definitely helpful to some extent, but books won't teach you how to speak as a native but will only teach you the most formal way of speaking that sounds a bit unnatural. That's why I recommend conversational learning. I would be more than happy to help you with learning Slovenian at any level and to make your language learning journey fun and easy.
