I am a third-year student pursuing a Bachelor of Education with a focus on the Intermediate Phase. My native tongue is Xhosa, and I'm really passionate about teaching it. Throughout my studies, I have concentrated on creating efficient teaching techniques that enable students to acquire Xhosa in an engaging and fun way.
Apart from my educational background, I have actively participated in Xhosa teaching during my practicum, gaining experience in working with students of different ages. Presently, I am an Afrikaans language learner. My ability to modify my teaching strategies to fit the needs of each student and create a supportive learning environment has improved as a result of this experience.
Aside from my interests in academia and education, I like to read, travel, and spend time with friends and family. These exercises support my efforts to maintain equilibrium and infuse my teaching style with new ideas.
I'm looking forward to the chance to develop as a teacher and have a significant influence on my students' language learning experiences.
It takes commitment and effort to become fluent in a new language, and learners must be enthusiastic and dedicated to the process. I believe that it could be much easier to learn Xhosa in Port Elizabeth as it has many Xhosa people.
It wouldn't take that much time for someone who's practicing the language and communicating more often using Xhosa language.
